MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) is made from fine wood fibres bonded with resin under heat and pressure. This process produces a dense, uniform material that machines cleanly and holds fixings securely. It’s ideal for furniture making, shelving, panelling, and decorative joinery.
Our 11mm MDF sheets are lightweight and easy to handle, making them suitable for wall panelling, backing boards, and craft applications where a thinner, smooth panel is required. In contrast, the 18mm MDF sheets provide extra strength and rigidity, ideal for furniture construction, shelving, and general joinery work.
Both thicknesses cut, sand, and rout easily, offering excellent edge detail and a smooth finish once painted. Because there are no knots or grain patterns, the boards deliver consistent results and a professional appearance every time.
All sheets are supplied in the standard 2440mm x 1220mm (8ft x 4ft) size and are available from stock for immediate collection or delivery.
